Description :: We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to perform effective risk management and plan the organization’s financial
strategy. The CFO is accountable for the financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial
and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development monitoring of control systems designed to preserve
company assets and report accurate financial results. A CFO must be wellversed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple
accounting to broad investment and banking operations. The goal is to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial
control and sustainable growth. Principal accountabilities are:
1. Planning
Assist in formulating the company’s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives.
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
Develop financial and tax strategies.
Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
Develop performance measures that support the company’s strategic direction.
To lead preparation of IPO.
To be responsible and become the focal person on Bursa reporting and compliance.
2. Operation
Participate in key decision as a member of the executive management team.
Maintain indepth relations with all members of the management team.
Manage the accounting, tax, treasury and investor relations functions.
Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies and foreign operations.
Oversee the company’s transaction processing systems.
Implement operational best practices.
Supervise acquisition due diligence and negotiate acquisitions.
3. Financial Information
Oversee the preparation of financial statements
Report financial results to the board of directors
4. Risk Management
Understand and mitigate key elements of the company’s risk profile.
Monitor all open legal issues involving the company, and legal issues affecting the industry.
Construct and monitor reliable control systems.
Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
Report risk issues to the audit committee of the board of directors.
Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations.
5. Funding
Monitor cash balance and cash forecasts
Requirements :: Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking,
Others or equivalent.
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
At least 8 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Required Skill(s): Experience in handling a public listed company, Microsoft Office, Financial Management Software (SAP)
Preferably Senior Manager specialized in Corporate Strategy/Top Management or equivalent.
