Description :
As a systems architect your primary responsibility is to define the technical architecture of car multimedia products such as modern car radios. As a systems architect you are the main driver for technical design decisions, for instance in terms of which technologies, software / hardware components or platforms to be used. In addition, you will be in charge of creating and presenting technical concepts to internal and external stakeholders, leading feasibility studies and proof-of-concept / prototype projects for new products and technologies.You will also need to take over an active role in defining the future technology roadmap and to liaise with suppliers for strategic technology decisions.
 
Requirements :
-Around 10 years of relevant work experience.
-Very good technical understanding in various state-of-the-art technologies in the area of car multimedia products including but not limited to for instance, radio, tuner and sound processing technologies (e.g. FM/AM, RDS, DAB+, DSP), media playback and streaming technologies and formats (e.g. MP3), automotive bus systems and protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN), short range wireless and technologies (e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, HDMI), navigation related technologies (e.g. GPS), smart phone connectivity and mirroring technologies (e.g. Mirror Link, Car Play, Android Auto)
-Excellent analytical skills and being able to apply basic systems design principles
-Good understanding of HW design principles such as PCB layout design, circuit design, EMC and HW component selection
-Good understanding of SW design principles such as embedded software development practices, Android framework and SW component selection
-Very good interpersonal skills such as communication, moderation and presentation skills
-Proficient in English language
