The Founder of the Company, Yap Beng Tiong was with the Raffles Group Of Companies between 1990 and 2000. During this period of time, he undertook several commercial and hospitality projects for the group in both Singapore and overseas as well. Most notably were his involvement in the upgrading of Raffles City Singapore, Raffles Hotel Singapore, Westin Plaza (currently Fairmont Singapore), Brownâ€™s Hotel London and Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Hamburg.

Gravity+Form is incorporated in 2001 right after he left Raffles, so as to start our own design consultancy services in Singapore that has gotten more specialized in hospitality design over the years, especially when we started dealing with projects that are mostly F&B outlets, Clubhouses, Serviced Apartments and Hotels that are located all over China. To date, the cities where these projects were designed by us are numerous and those that our projects were successfully launched are located in Xian, Suzhou, Changsha, Shanghai and Beijing.
The Professional Hotel and Serviced Apartment Operators that we have dealings with are namely STARWOOD, WYNDHAM, HOWARD JOHNSON, ASCOTT, FRASERS, PER AQUUM and we have also worked directly with several PRC-based real estate and hotel companies directly as well, including YUNDA (owning company of SHERATON, ST REGIS and W HOTELS in Changsha) and FURONGGUO( owning company of WYNDHAM GRAND PLAZA ROYALE HOTEL and the chain of FURONGGUO fine dining clubhouses)
