Description :: • Responsible in the operations of Accounts Payables Global Account Reconciliation and Metrics Reporting including reconciliation, analysis, reporting and driving for resolution for aged items and reconciling items.
• Participate in monthly balance sheet review to ensure that aged items are highlighted & brought up for resolution. Ensure that Accounts Payable Balance Scorecard and dashboards are maintained and updated on regular basis.
• Strong understanding of Oracle/SAP system environment. Apply in-dept knowledge to support policies and process. Interfaces with Global Hub India / other departments / functions to ensure that customer needs, policies, programs, and processes are understood. Standardize the processes between Penang and India Global Hub.
• Work with operation team to understand the challenges and pain points suffered in the processes or systems. Provides leadership and engage in the overall process improvements in Accounts Payable activities. Ability to evaluate alternative procedural and systematic solutions which most effectively meet needs while maintaining acceptable business standards and ensure SOX compliance.
• Work with project core team in rolling out any new projects which impacting Accounts Payable function. This involves different phases such as design, testing, communication and implementation. Liaise with cross business functions to ensure end to end process efficiency/effectiveness and SOX compliance.
• Work with IT team for any system enhancement or resolve any system issues and follow up to close the OVSD calls.
Requirements :: • Degree in Accounting or any related discipline with accounting knowledge.
• At least 5 years relevant working experience preferably in a multinational organization.
• Possess strong leadership and project management skills.
• Meticulous, result oriented, motivated, resourceful, self-starter, ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
• Excellent Microsoft excel and Power Point skills. Knowledge in Ms Access database is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate to all levels of management, and cross functionally with business partners.
• Knowledge of SAP and Oracle systems is a must.
• Sarbanes Oxley experience is an added advantage.
