Description :: • Responsible for maintaining financial and management reporting systems policies and procedures for accurate and timely reporting.
• Prepare and ensure accuracy, quality and consistency is met in most efficient manner in financial reports and analysis (monthly and annual report and annual audit), budgeting (annual budget, project budget tracking and cost and revenue control) and statutory reports.
• Liaise with auditors, lawyers, tax agents and bankers to ensure statutory compliance and also other statutory bodies/ authorities.
• Handle general and daily accounting duties.
• Maintain good accounting filing system
• Work closely with sales and services team on monthly AR collection.
• Oversee, review & implement an effective system of internal control procedures & reporting.
• Plans, organizes and controls within powers delegated to the financial, secretarial and some aspects of legal operations of the Company.
• Ensure compliance of statutory requirements, company policies and procedures, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate the preparation of annual report, annual audit, budgeting and forecasting process.
• Assesses monitors and tracks financial performances of the Company.
• Advises Management on financial strategies to remain in good financial status.
• Monitor controls on currency management and cashflow forecasting.
• Ensure that timelines and quality meet the agreed service levels and targets.
• To accurately process AP, AR, GL activities within the given time frame.
• To ensure the accuracy and the completeness of the transaction processed.
• To monitor and process the urgent request before specified deadline.
• Perform other duties as and when delegated i.e. back-up function, business process improvement initiatives and ad-hoc projects.
Requirements :: • Candidate must possess at least a Advanced/ Higher/ Bachelor's Degree, Accounting/ Finance/ Business studies or Prof Accounting Qualifications.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position preferably in Construction environment.
• Proactive and strong in follow up skills.
• Ability to interact well with people at different levels in the organization and outsiders.
• Able to work independently and initiate the improvement
• Good attitude, good team work spirit and willing to work hard.
• Possess good interpersonal, planning and organising skills
• Meticulous, mature, self-motivated, result-oriented individual with the ability to handle pressure and meeting tight deadline. message in error, please notify the sender immediately.
• Preferably with treasury experience.
• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned as and when required.
• Must be computer literate and good MS Office application and MYOB Accounting Experience.
• Report to the Director and General Manager.
