Description :: - Responsible to overseeing the inventory management process, defining strategies for appropriate inventory levels, eliminating obsolete and off-spec materials and reduce aging material.
- Maintain warehousing, receiving and distribution operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Maintain stock accuracy at all times through effective cycle counting and stock checks
- Responsible for the physical stock reconciliation of stock and apply FIFO system where applicable.
- Responsible for the optimisation of warehouse storage space.
- Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.
- Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles.
- Ensure warehousing and distribution workers follow safety rules.
- Develop and maintain logistic operation for Export and Import to ensures business needs are met, negotiate shipping forwarder cost.
- Ensure company is in compliance with laws and regulation by Government and Local Authority regarding Warehousing, Receiving, Distribution, Export and Import activities.
- Implementation logistics improvement plans to ensure quality delivery.
- Ensure all shipping processes and documentations are in compliance with Government Regulations.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, any field.
- At least 7 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Experience in licensing, warehousing, logistics, transportation, shipping, LMW licens , customs procedures, compliance, license application
- Preferably Managers specializing in Purchasing/ Inventory/ Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent
