- - This position reports directly to the CFO and will be responsible in managing all corporate aspects pertaining to legal and corporate law matters for the Group operations within Malaysia and outside.
- You will also assist in all company secretarial matters and be the liaison officer to the Corporate Company Secretary, Companies Commission of Malaysia and other regulatory bodies governing aspects of Corporate Governance.
- You will play the pivotal role of a Business Partner to all Heads of Departments, advising and counselling on all legal matters so as to derive accurate & just interpretation of contract documents.
- You may be required to assist in managing Shareholders meetings, Board meetings, and participate in Tender Committee meetings representing the company on the Legal and Corporate Governance front.
- You will be required to vet, draft, review and advise on all contractual documents with Customers, Suppliers and all Agreements and provide timely professional advice within the legal framework under which the Group operates in.
- Able to conduct legal research to keep abreast of all relevant changes of laws and advice Management on the required changes and impact to business operations.
- Manage all other ad-hoc requests & undertake special projects as required. - Requirements :
- - Candidates must possess at least an LLB (Hons) or equivalent and highly desirable if previously a practicing Lawyer in the relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualified working experience in Corporate Law, Contracts Management with a good exposure in handling corporate legal issues, contract negotiation and business agreements and arrangements.
- Salient knowledge of Malaysian Corporate Law and excellent drafting skills with the ability to provide sound legal advisory opinions.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and an eye for detail to provide sound legal judgment.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently with minimum supervision and have strong commitment to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner.
- You must have a strong desire to grow into a more progressive position within the organisation.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. - Lowest Qualification :

INCONTROL TECH SDN BHD, or iTEC (formerly known as VA TECH SAT Sdn Bhd) has been in operation for ten years.
