Description :: Supervision of department staff in the Logistics and Planning department, responsible for the day to day management of logistics, manufacturing plan and store management
To plan, follow up and expediting of production order so as to ensure timely delivery.
To confirm and coordinate urgent requests and deliveries to meet deadline.
To update the status of production orders for monitoring of progress of production activities.
To analyse usage trend and meet targeted inventory turns.
To monitor inventory and expedite material shipment in order to prevent high stock and discontinuity of production.
Sourcing and procurement of all sundry, material and spare parts including administration of import duties exemption;
To ensure the monthly manufacturing plan reflects the machine loading and delivery status;
Store management including control of receipts, storage, issuance and rejection of materials and ensure all raw materials are labelled, stored, handled and controlled to the Quality Assurance Procedure and Health and Safety requirements.
Organizing monthly and annual stocktaking exercises and ensures the adequate supply of trained personnel to expedite stocktaking.
To ensure shipping document arrangement are meet customer satisfaction and assist manager to approve shipping document where necessary.
To monitor container loading planning as per shipping scheduled and liaise closely with sales/marketing dept. on shipments issue and propose and implement countermeasures where necessary.
To analyse usage trend and meet targeted inventory turns.
Compliance and maintain to Government agencies and Customs Departments procedures.
Keep abreast with the latest Import Export rules & regulations and ensure all the documents declared are in order.
Any reasonable duties assigned from time to time by head of department.
Requirements :: Minimum Qualifications
 Diploma in related field
Minimum working experience
 At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
