- • Responsible for the operation of the assigned process, utilities and associated facilities in the field and from the DCS & associated panels in the Central Control Room in accordance with the Refinery operating procedures & best practices
• Carries out the Refinery Process & Utilities Operations by using the DCS & associated Control System and directing Shift Process and Utilities technicians in their shift tours, site checking and monitoring
• Completes the Central Control Room logbook and other reports noting refinery production, yield, quality of products, operating parameters and optimization
• Operates the Refinery and Utilities DCS Panels during start-up, shutdown and emergency operations as per the instructions of the Shift Supervisor and established Refinery operating procedures - Requirements :
- • Diploma in Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Process Technology or Trade Certificate
• At least 5 years of experience in refinery process and utilities operations as both Fieldman and DCS Control Panelman
• Possesses AESP from DOSH accredited training body – NIOSH
• Certified as Authorised Gas Tester and registered with DOSH
• Steam Boiler competency Grade 2 or Boilerman Grade 1 or 2
• Knowledge and experience as Work Permit Approver
• Strong command in general Process Safety control requirements
• Past experience as On Scene Commander and able to manage ERT during emergencies is highly preferred
• Fit to work in refinery and confined space environment (pre-employment health screening needs to be completed)
• Able to communicate well (verbally and written) in both Bahasa Melayu and English
• Good computer skills for word documents, spreadsheets and industry forms/ reports - Lowest Qualification :
