Description :: - Defines equipment requirements and specifications to manufacture and test new processes/products
- Manages R&D projects, ensuring these are on-schedule, on-budget and on-target
- Provides leadership and mentorship to R&D organization at Fab 3
- Innovates and directly creates new processes leading to cutting-edge PV products
- Develops and deploys new processes from concepts originating at advanced R&D labs
- Effectively works with SunPower business processes as required, meeting project objectives and timelines
- Interfaces with external vendors/material suppliers, consultants and customers to meet project goals
- Communicates effectively with multiple levels of the organization, including top management

Established in May 2010, SunPower Malaysia Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (SPMY) is a world class highefficiency solar cell manufacturing facility with outstanding manufacturing performance that have been running a full operation since July 2011. The plant has the capability to produce approximately 1400 megawatts of solar cells with up to 22.8 percent conversion efficiency for Gen C cells.

SPMY’s building is LEED certified (platinum for Admin building and gold for FAB) and we are a facility that fully recycles its Scheduled Waste.
