- To conduct negotiations with union officials on collective agreements.
- To ensure accurate interpretation of provisions of the collective agreement relating to terms and conditions of employment.
- To maintain and establish harmonious relationship with employees and management.
- To maintain regular contact with senior union officials, employee representatives, government officials and colleagues.
- To responsible for maintaining effective discipline including consistency in procedures relating to administration of disciplinary action.
- Oversees unions plants in terms of administer personnel support functions such as recruitment, training, employee services and compensation & benefit in a timely and consistent manner in order to increase productivity and morale at plant operating level.
- To provide human resources support to the Company in order to meet the requirements of all business units in Malaysia.
- Assist Company to drive changes within the organization.
- Focussed selection and Industrial Relation design. Good presentation and communication skills.
- Articulates and implements people related policies.
- Knowledge of HR matters in region. Malaysian labor laws Business Partner - Collaborates closely with the businesses, understands the people issues in the business.
- Talent Acquisition - Assists in the selection and placement of new employees.
- Talent Development - Identifies the talent in the company, develops and rolls out the career and training plans.
- Legal Compliance - Ensures that the company complies with all the local labour laws.
- Compensation and benefits - market bench marking and changes.
- Vendor relations - manages all the vendors to whom the HR related work is out sources.
- Employee Relations - maintains healthy relations with all the employees.
- Requirements :
- - Graduate degree in HR/Industrial Psychology, Desirable - Masters degree in HR/OD.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on work experience in HR and Personnel management, experience in leading the HR function in a large sized company is required.
- Good verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Bahasa Malaysia/Mandarin added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Must be prepared to travel if required.
