- Applications are invited for a PhD Student/Research Assistant position based within the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at Monash University Sunway Campus, Malaysia. In addition to receiving a local stipend, successful applicants will be required to undertake a Master’s/PhD degree, the fees for which will be covered by a scholarship.
This position is for 3 years subject to satisfactory performance. Successful candidates will be involved in a research project focusing on cellular mechanisms of neuronal cell death in Alzheimer’s disease. Experience in cell culture and molecular biology techniques is an advantage.
- Requirements :
- Candidates must possess a 1st or upper 2nd class honours degree or Masters in a relevant biological science discipline (ie. biomedical sciences, biochemistry, biotechnology, pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences). Applicants must also meet Monash University's English Language requirements.
