- 1. Oversee the Centre’s service providers and third party and contractors.
2. Ensure that all plant and machinery is being effectively and efficiently maintained by third party contractors in accordance with the maintenance schedules and that all records are accurately maintained.
3. Assist in the maintenance of the Centre’s ‘tenant Handbook’.
Assist in the maintenance of the Centre’s emergency planning and business continuity plan, reviewing and updating as necessary to ensure optimum effectiveness.
Maintain the Centre’s ‘Shop Fitting Guide’ and to assist Leasing in any tenant shop fit-out plan approvals.
4. Ensure that all accident and incident reporting, including insurance and statutory forms and procedures are correctly completed and adhered to.
5. Ensure that utility consumption and costs are effectively and efficiently managed.
6. Ensure that all the building’s insurer’s requirements are complied with.
7. Prepare and deliver operational reports as required.
8. Assume the role of ‘Duty Manager’ when required.
9. Any other duties reasonably requested by the Centre Manager. - Requirements :
- 1. Recognised qualification, preferably related to facilities management or technical services.
2. Ideally some knowledge of large building (concrete) structures and their associated mechanical and electrical services particularly life safety systems.
3. Experience of management of contractors and contract procurement.
4. Ideally a recognised health and safety qualification with experience in an H&S focused environment with responsibility for managing H&S.
5. Good numeracy skills with experience of setting and managing budgets, meeting deadlines and working within financial limits. - Lowest Qualification :
