- The Retail Manager will be responsible to lead, motivate and support the team in order to maximize retail sales and ensure a smooth transition from the contact phase with the client through the close of the sale.
Sales and Customer Service
Ensure Elemis Sales & Service standards are being practiced by all team members.
Achieve given sales/treatment target and expectations.
Complete and monitor performances promptly and accurately.
Introduce and effectively promote all boutique activities (marketing plans, loyalty scheme, events, workshops, promotions) to new & existing clients.
Provide feedback to Marketing on ideas, feedbacks and competitions.
Implement efficient and effective operational flow in the boutique.
Ensure housekeeping routines and operational procedures are been practiced.
Monitor for accurate sales transactions and sales collections.
Plan and complete all required paperwork procedures timely and accurately.
Calculate and submit Commission Report timely and accurately.
Engender positive working relationship with colleagues and Management.
Enforce strict disciplinary rules and regulations.
Communicate with Assistant Manager - Sales & Operations to build sales and teamwork.
Manage cash / credit card sales collection, petty cash and float money accurately.
Responsible to bank-in sales collection accurately and submit sales report timely.
Implement effective security procedures for handling sales collection.
Adhere to Rules & Regulations of Membership Program
Assist to recruit staffs as requested by Assistant Manager - Sales & Operations.
Complete and submit all paperwork procedures for new hires.
Provide on-the-floor training for new hires using Check List and Staff Evaluation forms.
Arrange manpower schedule to maximize sales opportunities effectively following rules and regulations.
Control overtime hours and day offs / leaves.
Provide ongoing on-the-floor training for all Retail Consultants using sales management tools.
Lead, motivate and support the retail team consistently.
Monitor and highlight individual sales weaknesses to the Trainer for training arrangement.
Ensure Grooming Guidelines are strictly being adhered by all.
Conduct staff evaluation twice a year to guide for better performance.
Handle stock inventory correctly to maintain adequate quantities and accuracy.
Responsible to minimize stock loss and maximize boutique’s security.
Ensure merchandising is attractive, up-to-date and consistent with marketing plans.
Execute events and in-store activity to build productivity.
Monitor stock’s batch code consistently and take action before expiry dates.
Ensure pricing of stocks are accurate.
- Requirements :
- 1. Minimum Education:
Candidate must possess at least a SPM level or equivalent.
Good command of written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in spoken and written Mandarin is an advantage.
Dynamic and hands-on with at least 3 years of managerial experience in the retail / sales / spa industry
Strong selling and communication skills, possess good planning, organizational and leadership skills
Highly motivated with good insight of customer service
Excellent communication skills and outgoing personality
Ability to resolve conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
Integrity, professional ability to handle confidential information.
Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Service oriented with high enthusiasm to serve
Detailed, sales driven, self-motivated and capable of leading a team
PC skills – Microsoft Office Application and email replying.
