- - Able to evaluate tender design and value engineering.
- Able liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, clients, consultants and subcontractors, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract
documents and issue proper documented purchase orders to ensure that assigned tenders are executed smoothly and
effectively in order to achieve the tender timeline and budget.
- Must ensure the best pricing and costing strategy in winning tenders without compromising the profit margin set by
management.
- Must be able to coordinate within tender and project department on technical issues in resolving discrepancies in order to complete the tender.
- Assist tender department to assemble accurate and well organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for every tender involved.
- Able to complete Budgeting and Scheduling and assemble all necessary data to complete commercial proposals including of
Bill of Quantities (BQ) and etc. where required in-line with stipulated tender submission deadline. - Requirements :
- - Experience and knowledge of the Tender (Request for Proposals/Quotation/Information) generation process for Public Sector & GLC such as TNB, PETRONAS,JKR, DBKL, MBPJ, MBSA etc
- Knowledge of public procurement contracting and tendering principles.
- Positive, can do attitude, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
- Prior experience with providing administrative support, ideally in a sales or commercial environment.
- Excellent organizational skills.
