Description :: - To identify, plan and execute internally driven marketing and promotions programmes and projects together with the A&P and VMD team in order to achieve Strong market presence
- Reinforce brand identity and positioning
- Attract increased traffic from desired target market segments
- Tenants’ buoyancy and sustainability
- To prepare concept proposals and budgets
- To maintain good relations with tenants and organize cross-promotions initiatives amongst tenants
- To achieve monthly income targets from profitable marketing and rental of promotion areas, banners, buntings, light boxes and other identifiable revenue-generating media.
- To identify and negotiate agreements with sponsors for the purpose of implementing creative and effective promotions.
- To analyse and recommend action on proposals received from tenants/external parties on promotions.
- To ensure effective implementation and coordination of duties internally amongst departments for events and promotions.
- To handle correspondence and administration on the application and approval of required licenses from various Govt bodies and authorities as applicable.
- To handle and evaluate sponsorship applications from external organizations
- To supervise, guide and assume overall responsibility for the proper implementation of all promotional events.
- To conduct post-mortems on events/promotions and identify areas for improvement.1. To develop and execute effective advertising strategies
- To liaise with relevant parties (e.g. advertising agencies) on the production of advertising for all media, including collaterals in support of the marketing of the shopping centre.
-To guide and maintain standards of advertising for the shopping centre and on the use of the corporate identity/logo of the shopping centre.
- To ensure kiosk directory, websites and mobiles apps are constantly updated.
-Liaise with all media owners and develop strong rapport with all news reporters so as to maximize coverage in unpaid publicity.
- Develop strong community relations programs aimed at projecting the company as a strong corporate citizen.
- To prepare and submit monthly budget reports on expenses incurred in the course of execution of promotions
- Monitor and analyse press coverage of the centre and its competitors’ advertising and coverage of promotions
- To keep abreast of industry issues and to act on opportunities identified in order to drive the centre to higher levels of marketing effectiveness.
- To maintain and upkeep an inventory of all promotional materials
- To direct and coordinate VMD on all promotional/publicity requirements.
-To coordinate inter-departmental liaison on implementation of marketing, events and promotions.
- To ensure smooth installation and dismantling of events/promotions.
- To attend to issues at point of event/promotions and to ensure the events/promotions run smoothly
- To direct the A&P team on the above.
- To direct the VMD Dept and liaise closely with and other Departments in ensuring that work produced has a common identity and project the desired image for the centre
- To train junior staff on basic advertising and production skills
- To enhance A&P staff’s skills in promotions and marketing via brainstorming and creative thinking
Requirements :: - Minimum Degree in Mass Communications, Marketing or equivalent and at least 5 years similar experience in a senior management position, preferably in a service industry.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office).
- Fast-paced, high degree of accuracy & a good head for detail.
- Creative, thinks “out of the box”
Lowest Qualification :: Bachelor Degree
