- - Oversee the shipping documentation (inclusive of Invoices
- Customer Service to ensure smooth delivery to meet customer requirement.
- Responsible in arranging negotiating pricing and terms with forwarders to ensure best value obtainers for the company.
- Ensures shipments are delivered in a timely manner.
- Maintains relationships with carrier vendors and consistently resolves customer issues.
- To compile monthly data & report for all shipments.
- Ensure that items are properly packed and labeled before cargo moved from factory.
- Coodinate and liaise with Forwardsers & Customer Support on all inbound & outbound shipments.
- Review invoices and ensure correct information send to accounts department for payment.
- Resolve any airisng problems or complaints.
- Prepare weekly/monthly report for On-Time Delivery shipment, Sales, Quantity shipment report.
- Verify all freight invoices from third party service provider and update the report.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Customer oriented, KPI to meet clients' lead time.
- Frequent review on shipment and logistic spending and make yearly/half yearly proposal on profit improvement and cost reduction.
- Review and improve system to ensure zero delays for import and exports matters and ensure first hand informations of delays by thir parties/forwarders/airliners are communicated to stakeholders within a day. - Requirements :
- - At least a Degree in Business Studies, Management Studies or Marketing, or consumer studies and other related field with minimum 2 years relevant experience.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and in a timely manner.
- A team player and able to work independently under tight schedule.
- Good organizational skills, communications skills and a good negotiator. - Lowest Qualification :

Description
Capitol Gravure Industries Pte Ltd was founded in 1969 by our Managing Directors, David Kuah Chee San and Johnny Wan Leong Wah. The original business began with the production of conventional gravure engravings on steel bases.
Over the following years Capitol has embarked on a continuing research and development program coupled with conservative business expansion. The combination of these factors establish Capitol amongst the leading engraving and roller manufacturers in Asia.
In 1993 Capitol made substantial investments in machinery offering technically advanced engraving systems, including automated electroplating lines, robotic laser exposing and chemical etching systems. Further investment in laser technology was introduced in 2005 which places Capitol at the forefront as a leader in the field.
Increasing market demand created the opportunity for Capitol to further expand manufacturing and relocate their Singapore base to China in 2001. Apart from the manufacture of gravure rolls, the plant also produces a diverse range of rollers for the international market.
Capitol has regional offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, China and Australia and successfully maintains a customer base extending throughout south-east Asia, the south Pacific and the Indian subcontinent to the Middle East.
