- - Initiate, conduct and conclude the purchase of goods and services
- Ensure the goods and services purchased are the right price and with the right quality.
- Ensure goods and services purchased are delivery as scheduled or agree timely.
- Follow up with the supplier if there are problems as quality and quantity of goods and service purchased or goods returned until replacement and or obtaining credit note.
- Evaluate the capabilities of the vendors
- Coordinate with operation to explore new products in the market which may improve operation/ reduce cost.
- Coordinate with store section to determine the timing of placing order and its quantity.
- Compiles invoices, purchase order and delivery order from site personnel
- Any other duties as and when assigned
- Requirements :
- - Minimum Certificate in Purchasing or related professional qualification.
- Minimum 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Knowledge in machinery will be an added advantages
- Good negotiation skill.
- Applicants MUST possess strong competencies in speaking and writing in English, Chinese and Bahasa Malaysia.
