- 1.Perform materials planning , purchasing and ensure timely delivery of materials to operation base on MRP run
2.Purchase required items & services meeting defined quality standards & cost objectives
3.Manage suppliers capacity and capability so as to ensure a consistent supply of quality product.
4.Buy competitively and negotiate with suppliers to meet the aggressive cost objectives
5.Coordinate with product engineer Group and Suppliers on drawing matters, specifications and any Engineering Change.
6.Liaise and coordinate on rejected components for Vendors correction action and prompt returned of rejects.
7.Leverage retail and operational best practices to ensure product content is most effective in communicating value to the end user as well as employer audience.
8.Coordinate on samples approval/FA submission.
9.Assist in sourcing and follow-up of materials requirement by other affiliates.
10. Ensures policies and procedures are followed and discrepancies are documented and resolved taking ownership to deliver improvement opportunities. - Requirements :
- - Diploma in Management / Purchasing / related or equivalent
- Individual must have 2- 5 years experience , primarily with production related parts & components,negotiation skills & demonstrated savings with vendors/suppliers
- Analytical Skills – Ability to use critical thinking and technical reasoning to solve problems.
- Communications (Written) – Ability to communicate in writing clearly and concisely.
- Communications (Verbal) – Ability to speak, converse, and understand English (minimum).
- Detailed Oriented – Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.
- Patience – Ability to act calmly under stress and strain, and of not being hasty or impetuous.
- Technical Aptitude – Ability to comprehend and interprets complex technical materials (e.g. drawings, specifications, schematics) and specialized information.
- Quality – Ability to follow and execute established policies, procedures, and practices to ensure high quality work.
- Teamwork – Ability to work and function effectively in teams to achieve strong results for company.
- Sense of Urgency – Ability to recognize, prioritize, and execute in accordance to business needs.
