Akbar Money Changer Sdn. Bhd. (AMCSB) was established in 1993 and we started off as an ordinary Money Changing Company and now, we have proudly grown into a prosperous Money Services Company having a current total of eight branches all over Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah with 13 Money Services Business Agents. In addition, we have twenty two hotels which serve as our agents; The Shangri La Hotels group both in Kuala Lumpur and Penang, Park Royal Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Double Tree by Hilton Kuala Lumpur just to name a few.

AMCSB is a class ‘’A’’ licence holder for Money Services Business and we are the only fully owned Malaysian Company entrusted by Bank Negara Malaysia to hold this licence alongside nine other multinational companies in Malaysia.

Our main two activities in Money Services Business include foreign currency exchange (buy and sell) as well as remittance activities. Akbar Money Changer Sdn. Bhd. is subsequently active in both foreign currency exchange and remittance activities.
