Description :: - Responsible for sourcing, cost negotiation, credit terms and buying of raw materials.
- Plan, source and develop an alternative or new potential supplier.
- Establish cost down strategy, such as source alternative grade of materials, delivery lead time and good service.
- Follow up on outstanding Purchase Order, expedite delivery of goods, review inventories / deliveries against the orders / track any orders status and ensure invoices are forwarded to Finance Department for payment.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier, such as quality, delivery service and support.
- Deal with non-supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged goods.
- Prepare monthly purchasing report.
Requirements :: - Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Purchasing / Inventory / Material & Warehouse Management or its equivalent.
- Good spoken and written communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
