- - To source and identify alternative vendors (local and overseas) for new and/or alternative cost-effective raw material.
- To perform price comparison and negotiation on order lead-time with vendors to optimize price competitive on all purchase.
- To perform cost analysis, evaluate market condition and achieve overall cost reduction
- To coordinate and ensure timely deliveries and consistency in quality of delivered goods.
- To support in arranging shipping documentation (e.g. shipping documents, import permits etc) with overseas vendors.
- To conduct and address quality issues together with QA to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned by your manager. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Business Studies/ Administration/ Management/ Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a related field.
- Experience in supply chain management such as purchasing, vendor management, purchase orders coordination, analysis and negotiations in the manufacturing field would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in English, Mandarin and BM, both oral and written. - Lowest Qualification :
