- -Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price.
-Getting quotations and negotiate price with suppliers for good or services.
-Generate documents like purchasing requisition, purchasing order and purchasing receipts.
-Follow up with suppliers on the delivery of goods or services.
-To monitor all purchase requisitions, issue purchase order to supplier, follow up quotation, received orders and invoices.
Obtaining approval from requisitioning section/department.
-Managed excess, obsolete / EOL and aging material to minimize overall materials exposure.
-Worked with internal departments to review material requirements and expedited delivery to meet production schedule.
-Managed overall supplier relationship & reviewed supplier performance via quarterly reviews.
-Conducted price negotiations and cost down activities leading to savings for company.
-Initiated dual source development and localization opportunities.
-Purchase for tooling material and tooling spare parts and indirect item. - Requirements :
- -Minimum of 2 years working experience in production / manufacturing environment.
-Candidates must possess at least SPM/Diploma or Equivalent.
-Experience in paper packaging industry environment will be and added advantage.
