Description :: 1. Negotiate semi-annual commodity cost reduction programs by commodity or customer product/program as required.
2. Assist Commodity, Supplier & Quality Mgmt. team in Paramit supplier selection & approval process
3. Provide escalation support for negotiating costs & mitigating interruptions of supply with suppliers
4. Provide senior management, support & material visibility to customers
5. Identify cost & commodity strategies for customers in order to help ensure best sourcing solutions required for providing a detailed Total Landed Cost analysis. Total cost of quality / total landed costs are to be considered for all supplier/commodity selections
6. Analyze BOM & Quote details as required to provide clear sourcing directions of critical/key components/materials
7. Provide supervision & approvals for any/all freight costs incurred (in/outbound). Work with customer & tactical procurement teams to negotiate total landed costs for all material purchases
Requirements :: 1. Minimum of 10 years experience in global supply chain management & procurement is required. Direct experience in Contract Manufacturing supply chain management / procurement is preferred.
2. MRP / ERP system experience is required. Strong supplier relations & contract negotiations skills required.
3. Proficient in Excel
4. 4 years Degree in Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science
