- 1. Monitor delivery performance of suppliers and follow up closely with suppliers for default delivery, if any.
2. Ensure all items purchased meet the agreed specifications.
3. Prepare PO to supplier and follow up with supplier.
4. Follow up with supplier for any discrepancy noted.
5. Invoice & DO sorting and matching against PO.
6. Monitor the stocks level and ensure purchases are placed at the right time.
7. Negotiate with vendors to obtain quotes, pricing and lead time.
8. Establish and manage supplier relationship.
9. To manage and develop the purchasing function.
10. Evaluate current and potential suppliers in coordination with supplier performance KPI.
11. Tracking key commodities price and index movement or alike against purchase price.
12. To undertake other duties assigned by superior from time to time
- Requirements :
- 1. Possess Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
2. Minimum 3 years working experience in purchasing or procurement
3. Possess good negotiation and communication skills
4. Good leadership skill
5. Mature & able to manage, motivate and drive the purchasing team
6. Able to work with all level of staffs
7. Initiative, self-motivated, able to work independently with minimum supervision
