Description :: •Managing day-to-day purchasing process.
•To compile purchasing and project report.
•To seek clarification on the requisition form issued by the departments.
•To source quotations as per departments' requirement on the PR.
•Negotiate price with suppliers by quantities, delivery schedule and billing.
•Follow up on unquote quotations that description had given to the supplier.
•Arrange samples/artworks' presentation.
•Obtain the signature for PR by the relevant authorized signatories.
•Distribute the approved PR for staff to issue the PO.
•Check and sign on the entire issued PO.
•Attend to the walk-in-supplier.
•Makes comparison of quoatations with the present and new supplier.
•Handle the cash purchases' petty cash.
•Supervised Market List/Daily Market List (perishable goods) before placed orders.
•Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.
Requirements :: •Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, any field.
•Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
•At least 3 year(s) of working experience with strong background as Purchasing Manager in hotel industry is required for this position.
•Preferably Managers specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
