Description :: This position requires deep understanding of HTML5, C#, Javascript, Microsoft MVC (5/6), MS Windows operating systems, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructures.
The senior application engineer will apply clear communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, resolve issues.
Additional Essential duties and responsibilities
* Primary application coding using HTML5, Javascript, within an MS web application framework.
* Create, modify, and test the code, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run. Work from specifications drawn up by software developers or other individuals.
* Develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information using .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, SQL Server, Oracle, VB.Net, J-Query, Visual Studio, HTML and XML.
* In depth knowledge and hands on experience developing applications within an MS framework.
* Incorporate human factors and end-user workflow efficiency needs into UI
* Must have 5+ years of hands experience integrating a multi-tier web application framework – Microsoft MVC, ASP.net and/or Client focused experience a major plus. HTML5,C#, ASP.net, Javascript, .net, MVC 5/6, SignalR a plus
* Must have a strong hands on experience using TFS/Visual Studio within an Agile environment
* Must be able to analyze web application security issues and risk. – PCI experience a plus
* Code and unit test application features per technical design
* Provide technical input to manager and business areas as needed
* Use standard processes, procedures and tools to develop, test and release code - TFS/Visual Studio a plus
* Strong customer and communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms
Additional Information Required experience, knowledge, skill & ability
* Self-motivated and capable of performing tasks with minimal oversight
* Works with backend and DB developers to deliver integrated functionality
* Possess excellent oral and written communication skills and sound problem solving skills
* 5+ years of .net Web development using Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server as the development platform
* Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
* Object Oriented Programming
* Microsoft Windows OS, Visual Studio C#.Net
* Application development for Manufacturing background required
