- •Conceives and develops solutions to engineering programs through the application of professionally accepted engineering techniques, practices and procedures.
•Responsible for developing, integrating and evaluating the electrical & magnetic performance of head/media components and drive builds.
•Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes drive data to establish operating limits. Conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support development. Includes electrical/electronic design subspecialities not included in designated engineering job families.
•Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel. - Requirements :
- •Degree or Master/Phd in electrical/magnetic engineering or physics.
•Preferably candidates with more than 3 years working experience in the magnetic recording industry
•Must be willing to work and based in Singapore
•Those with prior experiences dealing with magnetic head and media , HGA etc are highly encouraged to apply.
