- a) To supervise the execution of work carried out by his subordinates and contractors /vendors.
b) To plan the maintenance work – availability of equipment, urgency or repairs, availability of materials to obtain the most efficient use of his workforce.
c) To ensure all work is carried out according to the safety requirements and standard maintenance practices.
d) To manage the day to day operation of engineering workshop, ensuring all equipment and work areas are kept in the safe order, clean and efficient working order.
e) To ensure preventive maintenance is carried out on the plant according to established preventive maintenance program and regularly review the program maintenance intervals, recommending improvements where appropriate.
f) To plan for annual Shutdown Maintenance for all equipment in the plant.
g) To ensure all requested maintenance work orders are carried out per date/time
h) To maintain records for planning and accounting purposes.
i) To maintain the plant and equipment to attain set product quality standards and downtime limits.
j) To ensure the work place is safe from hazard and minimizing engineering downtime through effective preventive maintenance and prompt repairs.
- Requirements :
- a) Minimum a Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
b) At least 5 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment together with proven supervisory experience.
c) Possess good command of English in both written and verbal.
d) Required PLC knowledge.
