Description :: 1. Handle product transfer and new project.
2. Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
3. Provide strong engineering and administrative support to mold maintenance team.
4. Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
5. Establish and execute continual improvement plans to improve mold conditions.
6. Examine methodologies to maximize debug, integration and verification efficiency.
7. Interact with customer and various departments on product related issues
8. Coordinate closely with supplier, toolmaker and internal parties to ensure molds are ready for production activity.
9. Required to utilize CAD and Auto Cad to design and modify mold inserts.
10. Provide training to the debug technicians and develop better understanding of the product.
11. Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, scrap reduction.
12. Suggest modification to work instruction, material or product changes so as to ensure superior quality of product.
Requirements :: 1. Typically requires a Bachelor of Science degree in related field or equivalent experience.
2. Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations and permutations.
3. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.
4. Ability to define problem, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instruction in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
