- 1. Visual inspection before, during and after welding and decide whether the weld is acceptable in term of the particular levels which are permitted.
2. Conducting Welder Qualification Test
3. Conducting Welding Procedure Qualification Test
4. Internal co-ordination with Production/QAQC/Maintenance for any engineering matter.
5. External co-ordination with TPI, NDE sub-contractor and testing laboratory
6. Monitoring of production welding
7. Monitoring of consumable storage and handling
8. Prepare and control of documentation.
9. Report to Welding Engineer. - Requirements :
- 1. Possess at least Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia or equivalent
2. At least 3 years of working experience in Welding or QA/QC inspection.
3. Required language : Bahasa Malaysia and English
4. CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or equivalent
