Description :: - Leads Engineering Department to develop program and processes for all CNC machine
- Performs process cycle time studies during RFQ stage
- Spearheads cycle-time and process improvement activities to enhance product profitability, improve OEE, reduce scrap, etc.
- Oversee all tooling and fixture design and usage
- Develops and implements departmental goals to achieve strategic objectives set by Management.
- Communicates with customers in technical review discussions during early stage product development.
- Participates in Material review Board and Performs root cause analysis to determine containment plan, corrective and preventive actions for internal and external product failures.
Requirements :: - Extensive hands-on experience in precision engineering with specialization in CNC machining processes, eg. swiss-type autolathe, turning, milling, turn-mill, multi-axis machining , etc.
- Experience in precision engineering R&D with sound knowledge of latest technology.
- Good knowledge in machining of special materials for various industries in Automotive, Semiconductor, etc.
- Minimum 10 years’ hands-on experience in precision machining.
- Minimum 5 years’ managerial experience in precision machining.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in CAD/CAM and 3D modelling software.
- Experience in tool and fixture designs and automation systems.
- Knowledge in DOE, PFMEA, GD&T, 8D/5-Why, SPC and metrology.
