- -Execute buying, expediting, rescheduling and cancellation activities according to SAP recommended actions.
-Solicit quotations and negotiation from suppliers as required.
-Maintain SAP data integrity for the purchased parts under their responsibilities.
-Maintain lean inventory by optimizing purchasing parameters and purchasing mode as necessary.
-Maintain proper cost control to ensure buying within / below cost at all times.
-Regular reporting to provide material status updates to customers as required.
-Participate in material status discussion with customers as required.
-Build positive working relationships with external stakeholders (suppliers) and internal stakeholders (peers from other departments) to ensure smooth running
of day-to-day activities and quick resolution of issues.
-Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel. Provides training and coaching to his / her team members - Requirements :
- -Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in purchasing / material management or any field
5-7 years’ experience as purchaser/sourcing/buyer in an electronics manufacturing environment.
-At least 4-5 years working in supervisory / managerial role in the above capacity.
-Strong knowledge of PC-based/mainframe SAP and production control systems.
-Good command of spoken and written English.
-Relationship drivern strategically minded individual with very strong communication skill and leadership abilities.
-Able to communicate in Chinese is preferred
