- -To be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the boilers in the most efficient manner to ensure continuous plant operations to meet customers’
requirements.
-To be responsible for the operational efficiency of the boilers by ensuring continuous supply of steam to the plant.
-To prepare the chemical dosage for the boilers and conduct blow downs as advised by the Quality Control (QC) Department.
-To warm up the auxiliary boilers to ensure continuous operations of the other plants during the acid plant shutdown.
-To undertake preventive maintenance of boilers to minimize breakdowns and/or avoid disruption to the production process/customer delivery schedules.
-To ensure MS 9001: 2015 and MS 220 Part 2:2012 are effectively implemented and meets the relevant Statutory and Regulatory requirements.
-To perform shutdown of air blower turbine as instructed by the Plant Manager, Engineer, Senior Supervisor or Supervisor.
-To grease the air blower coupling and bearings to minimize breakdowns and ensure sustainable continuous production.
-To record plant process parameters in the log sheet for analysis.
-To maintain housekeeping in the boiler room and blower room.
-To undertake any other tasks as directed by the Superior/Management as and when required. - Requirements :
- -Candidate must possess at least an SPM/STPM or equivalent
Minimum of 2-3 years’ working experience in a manufacturing environment
-Possess Boilerman Certificate Grade 1 or 2
-Proficient in Factory & Machinery Act 1967
-Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
-Willing to work on rotation shift - Lowest Qualification :
