Description :: '- Analyze product quality incident data to identify patterns, pareto and trend to prioritize for improvement
- Facilitate systematic technical problem solving using various toolkits like process mapping, 3x5 whys, 8D methodology, fault tree analysis FMEA etc.
- Work with cross functional team to resolve product quality issues.
- Manage 8D request from customer & support sales team in customer interfacing on product quality matters.
- Drives quality improvements by eliminating sources of defects for new and existing products.
- Ensure quality of new product transfer and introduction to manufacturing
- Utilizes product and process lessons learned to drive preventative actions and improvement plans.
- Develops and deploys relevant quality tools and processes across the organization as needed
- Works with multiple international sites for best practice benchmarking & knowledge sharing.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of product quality performance and drive improvement on quality indices.
- Any other tasks according to the organization’s needs from time to time
Requirements :: '- Degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent with minimum 7 years of direct experience in product quality management.
- Mandatory skill sets : data analytic using excel pivot table, 8D methodology, 3x5 whys, FMEA & root cause analysis
- Prior experience in driving quality improvement project, Zero Defets Program or Six Sigma/Lean Sigma prefered.
- Working experience in semiconductor testing equipments & handlers would be an added advantage
- Capable to lead and drive the cross functional team in product & processes improvement
- Highly intuitive in identifying the vital fews amongst complex and highly mixed technical issues
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Demonstrated leader, change agent, influencer, coach and team builder.
- Excellent presentation, communication, facilitation and collaboration skills. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
- Fluent written and spoken English language.
