Description :: Prepare accounts in compliance with accounting standards (FRS), income tax law, companies Act etc.
Timely submission of financial statement & management reports to HQ.
Review and analyze monthly management report, bank reconciliations and escalate any peculiar transactions to region’s management.
Monitor and review internal controls and ensure compliance with the company’s standard operating standards (SOP) particularly in cash, stocks, debtors and
daily collections process.
Review and check all payments including petty cash to ensure only authorized payments are made.
To ensure efficiency of fund management and smooth cash flow arrangement under the Imprest System.
Monitor and involve in monthly stock count and ensure stocks are properly accounted for and stock count variances are checked, approved and recorded.
Follow up on obsolescence and slow moving stocks and ensure proper authorization before writting off the stocks.
Check and approve customer’s credit note, interbranch transactions and agency claims.
Liaise with internal and external auditors on audit query and follow up on audit findings.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by superior from time to time.
Requirements :: Degree in Finance / Accounting or professional accounting qualification and a member of MIA
Minimum 4 years of working experience.
High level of commitment and integrity, resourceful, good problem solving skills and hardworking
Meticulous with good interpersonal and communication skills.
Good problem solving skills and able to implement internal control by enforcing effecitve and efficient work process/ procedures.
Willingness to learn and grow with the Company and multitasking.
Possess high level of integrity and honesty.
Must be willing to travel and work on Saturdays (half day till 12 noon).
