- - To plan and execute Plant Maintenance Program to achieve department’s objectives.
- Responsible to attend to emergency cases of mechanical breakdowns and countermeasures.
- To achieve optimum maintenance cost and to prepare monthly sectional report and team performance.
- Provide Technical support to production floor.
- Control of measuring devices and engineering drawing.
- Technical skill in evaluation, testing, detail in problem study, solving & improvement activites.
- Ensure Product qualification are meet.
- To assist in improving manufacturing quality plans inline with ISO 9001 and EN 720 quality objectives.
- To direct, control and motivate subordinates in all aspect affecting to their work performance and discipline to achieve targeted quality and efficiency.
- To optimize all available resources such as manpower, material, and equipment to ensure cost effectiveness.
- To ensure production quality and safety standard.
- Responsible for maintenance activities on wide range machinery, inclusive of preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and breakdowns.
- Preparing technical report and troubleshoot machine problem.
- Identify and proliferate best-known practices between manufacturing sites.
- Mentor and coach subordinates on process control, data analysis, problem solving and communication. - Requirements :
- - Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent.
- Engineers with minimum five years working experience preferably in steel pipes manufacturing.
- Excellent computer skills & communication skills (very proficient with English, both verbal and written).
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
- Have “hands-on” experience in the engineering and design of mechanical system & equipment
- Self motivated with a proactive attitude
- Able to work in a teamwork environment with minimum supervision
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens.
- Possess excellent interpersonal skills.
- A self-starter who is dynamic and self motivated.
- Sound knowledge of advanced machine technology, hydraulic operations and CNC Programming.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Tanjung Langsat,Pasir Gudang.
- Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Engineering - Mechanical or equivalent.
- Full-Time position(s) available.
