Description :: Job Summary:
Responsible for operational direction/supervision of facility employees at a satellite hose manufacturing location. Coordinates and schedules the site activities to ensure all customer orders are filled and sent for on time delivery. Ensures compliance with all home and host country law as well as corporate policy

Essential Functions:
- Plans and arranges daily production through most efficient use of equipment, materials and employees.
- Is familiar with all local laws/regulations and manages in a manner consistent with the law and company policy
- Maintains control over materials usage,scrap and efficiency. Monitors availability of materials
- Responsible for prompt quality issue identification and resolution
- Monitors production safety, efficiency, quality and employee performance. Accountable for achieving safety goals for the site
- Anticipates and investigates causes of delays or inadequate performance and takes corrective action within scope of authority
- Maintains all necessary production, scrap and employee records
- Responsible for all site recruiting and on-boarding
- Responsible for approval of the site quality manual and procedure manual
- Manages associate training programs and ensures compliance with corporate requirements
- Manages customer relations: Multi-national customer base
- Assures equipment is maintained in good, safe working order. Takes prompt action to remove all safety hazards
- Acs as communication liaison between manufacturing and sales
- Responsible for maintaining building and grounds conditions
- Coordinates all Human Resource activities and flow of information between location and headquarters
- Communicates with General Manager of Lexible Solutions on strategic direction and operational objectives
- Communicates with Director, Human Resources on matters regarding employee issues on discharges, disciplinary actions, or other matters of employment law
- Responsible for physical inventory management at regular intervals

Secondary Duties:
- Rearranges schedules to meet new or emergency situations
- Cooperates with other departments on projects for new or existing products or equipment
Requirements :: - Education: Bachelor'sDegree in related discipline or equivalent technical/practical training
- Experience: 5-10 years preferred
Skills:
- Working knowledge of products, materials and processes
- Knowledge of company procedures
- Local country business operation compliance
- Knowledge of quality criteria
- Effective communication skills
- Working knowledge of employment law
- Familiarity with ISO certifications (14001, 9001, 18001) preferred
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge preferred
- Clean room environment experience a plus
- Special Requirements: Shop floor conditions; majority of time is spent in manufacturing areas. International travel required
