- 1. Co-ordinate as well as perform First Article Inspection – mechanical, electrical and electronics parts and sub-assemblies.
2. Manage First Article (FA) Approval process via Agile System
3. Co-ordinate with other depts., and if necessary suppliers to resolve FA issues.
4. Perform Incoming Inspection
5. Draft Incoming Inspection Methods
6. Write CNC CMM programs for inspection
7. Measure suppliers’ performance periodically, eg DPPM, LAR etc
8. Administer supplier CAR
9. Check on supplier’s SPC data; review Pp/PpK or Cp/CpK
10. Handle NCMR and prepare for MRB meetings
11. Able to do Quality and Process Audit
- Requirements :
- 1. Complete Singapore equivalent of NTC2 technical education
2. Able to read, write and speak English
3. Must be competent enough to be able to work independently for inspection
4. Can interpret Engineering Drawing
5. Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
6. Able to use measuring instruments such as digimatic caliper, micrometer, hardness testers, Mitutoyo Quickscope, surface roughness tester, multimeter, etc.
7. Proficient in using and programming Mitutoyo CNC CMM
8. Good knowledge and experience in applying SPC techniques
9. Experience in quality and process audit
10. Able to use MS Word and Excel
