- 1. Provides overall coordination of the maintenance & facilities functions.
2. Explores the application of new technologies related to operations.
3. Generates required engineering data, ROI calculations, Capital Requests for approval. Executes approved projects on time and within budget, insures equipment is properly and safely installed, and performs to project specifications.
4. Meets regularly with superior to review engineering needs, capital spending and maintenance issues. Keeps superior continually apprised of all appropriate equipment maintenance conditions, capital projects status throughout both plants.
5. Develops and implements cost reduction ideas. Maintains control of labour costs including approval of maintenance group overtime. Monitors process reliability and implements changes to improve results.
6. Oversees work order review meetings and works with production supervision to prioritize and schedule maintenance work to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
7. Improve Maintenance systems (i.e. Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Parts availability, etc.)
8. Perform equipment breakdown support and troubleshooting support. Must be able to work extended hours as required to maintain production continuity.
9. Develops maintenance group competency and proficiency and ensures all aspects of company policy are administered appropriately.
10. Full support of 5S.
- Requirements :
- 1. Possess Diploma or above in Mechanical or other related field of study and/or equivalent industrial experience and knowledge of manufacturing production/process, press, machanical, steam, pneumatics, electronics, PLC programming and related control systems, and HVAC knowledge preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of Industrial Maintenance Experience.
3. Experience and proficiency in project management techniques and methods.
4. Understanding and application of industrial safety processes and procedures as related to the department and facility installations.
5. Working knowledge of AutoCAD software is an advantage.
6. Computer literate & analytics troubleshooting skills
7. Display personal & professional behaviour at all times.
8. Must be able to communicate effectively in Bahasa Melayu and English, proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage.
9. The applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
