- JOB PURPOSE
Incharge of all QA inspection activity and ensure product meet all quality requirements by customer
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide technical guidance and support to the QA Technician with the aim of achieving the highest level of quality
awareness from them.
Incoming
To co-ordinate and qualify new and any changes to existing equipment, processes and materials.
To co-ordinate with the relevant engineers on review/sorting/disposition on non-conforming materials.
To follow up vendor/process corrective actions/requests are properly monitored and closed.
To ensure incoming inspection activities are carried out accordingly and suppliers incoming quality issues;
are monitored.
Reliability
To review the daily reliability test being done and to improve the test methods.
To assist in the performing of product trouble-shooting for the part fail reliability test.
To co-ordinate with the relevant engineers on review/sorting/disposition on non-conforming materials.
To control material failed on the reliability test and hold them for the Material Review Report (MRR) disposition.
Calibration
To ensure all equipment under calibration list are calibrated as per schedule.
To liaise with external calibration vendor for equipment that could not be calibrated internally.
To ensure calibration history and record are properly maintaned
Process
To provide technical guidance and support to the QA Inspectors with the aim of achieving the highest level of quality
awareness from them.
To review the daily inspections being done and to improve the inspection methods.
To assist in the performing of line trouble-shooting and part failure analysis.
To co-ordinate with the relevant engineers on review/sorting/disposition on non-conforming materials.
To monitor QA Inspector performance and meet set target.
To perform process audit as required.
Review all non-conformance materials/products through MRR system.
To conduct failure analysis on rejected samples from production line.
To perform other miscellaneous duties assigned from time to time by the superior.
RoHS
To reply all customer queries on restriction of hazardous substance and Green procurement.
To submit ICP data to customer upon request for products and raw material
- Requirements :
- - Diploma / Degree in related Engineering discipline.
[Equivalent related experience may be substituted for educational requirements]
- Basic SPC knowledge on variation control (stability), process capability and over adjustment.
AUTHORIZATION
- To Stop production there is major process quality problem.
- Work Experience not necessary. Fresh Diploma graduates may apply.
