- The cost accountant position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. The cost accountant must also construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management.
1.Prepare, analyze and report weekly, monthly, quarterly gross margin analysis by brand by customer type
2.Prepare and compile bid tender package
3.Coordinate with IT department for system issues, maintenance and development such as production, purchasing, import/export, accounts payable, accounts receivable, import/export IT, receiving, shipping, and other.
4.Analyze cost accounting data and assist with cycle count/physical inventories
5.Maintain internal control documentation and test internal controls
6.Generate quotation to claim from customers
7.Provide & track customer outstanding payments
8.Support and assist internal department reporting requirements such as audit schedules, tax schedules and others - Requirements :
- 1.Ability to apply knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles & Cost Accounting Standards
2.Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis
3.Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data
4.Good written, verbal communication and collaborative skills
5.Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
6.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
7.Required language(s): Chinese, English
8.At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
9.Applicants must be willing to work in Senai.
