Description :: •Assist in sourcing for new vendors for packaging materials to achieve cost effectiveness & competency among vendors.
•Request quotation & negotiate for best costing.
•Monitor & follow up to ensure on time goods deliveries.
•Practice regular cost down with existing vendors.
•Responsible for sourcing, selecting and negotiating with supplier in obtaining the best price while maintaining the highest level of quality, services and drive cost saving strategies
•Building good relation with vendors to faster and better ties for materials delivery & costing support.
•Prepare monthly purchase analysis.
Requirements :: •Diploma or Degree holder in any equivalent related fields.
•At least 3 years working experience in purchasing preferably within manufacturing environment.
•Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office application, e.g. MS Excel.
•Required languages (written): English, Mandarin and Bahasa Melayu.
•Analytical & possess good problem-solving skills.
