Description :: - Achieves quality assurance operational by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews: preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, draft quality assurance policies and procedures, identifying and resolving problems, completing audits, determining system improvements, implementing change.
- Responsible to maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits, investigating customer complaints. Collaborating with other department to develop new product, engineering designs, manufacturing and training methods.
- Monitor and analyze internal non-conformance/defects captured by QA/QC Department. Coordinate with process owner to identified corrective and preventive actions is effective, timely replied and actions are appropriate to resolve the problems. Monitor external and internal cost of rejects and present to management during monthly quality meetings.
- Implement quality plans for all products to meet customers’ specifications. Drive corrective and preventive actions to resolve any arising quality issues.
- Responsible to review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems.
- Liaise with customers on all customers’ complaint. Address all quality-related issues promptly and develop strategic plan to enhance customers’ satisfaction. Also, investigate customer complaints and non-performance issues.
- Conduct weekly quality review meeting to identify and analyze contributory causes and work in conjunction with Engineering and Production to reduce the reject rate to an acceptable level.
- Plan, conduct, monitor, testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality.
- Responsible to oversee and liaise with external parties to ensure the audit or assessment is carried out successfully and analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
- Revise sampling procedures and directions for reading and reporting quality data.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
Requirements :: - Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in Engineering
- Possess minimum 8 years of relevant working experience including manufacturing quality control and quality assurance and auditing
- Possess knowledge and hands on experience in ISO 9001: 2008 QMS & ISO 14001
- Hands-on to handle quality issues, proactive and committed with high sense of urgency.
- A mature team player with strong personality, good analytical and communication skills
