- -To assist the Director, Operations and General Manager to carry out project planning, project implementation and project completion activities.
-To take on the ultimate responsibility of quality, environmental, safety and health management for the project.
-To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
-To comply with legal and other requirements applicable to the organization.
-To plan, manage, monitor and control project operations.
-To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites.
-To maintain good house-keeping and implement safety practices.
-To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
-To review and monitor site work productivity and arrange for resources as required.
-To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.
-To monitor, control and improve QESH performance at project site
-To report project progress to top management.
-To undertake all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
- Requirements :
- -Degree / Diploma in Building or Civil Engineering.
-Minimum 5 years of working experience in construction industry with at least 2 years in a similar capacity.
-Knowledge in legal requirements and good environmental, safety and health practices.
-Good interpersonal and communication skills.
-Self-motivated person and able to work independently.
-Able to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.
-Able to work under pressure and long hours.
Computer literate.
