Description :: Perform the daily activities associated with supervising a group of QA/ QC; supervise and participate in activities associated with production quality issue.
• Establish and maintain quality document/ specification.
• Participate in design of call monitoring formats and quality standards.
• Perform statistical analysis of varying data to management team.
• Use quality monitoring data management system to compile and track performance at team and individual level.
• Identify customer needs and expectations.
• Assist in performing inbound inspections of selected raw materials/ in process output to assure specifications are achieved.
• Verify all quality activities such as production, inspection and delivery operation.
• Prepare and analyse internal and external quality reports for management review.
• Investigate non- conformance’s root cause and take corrective/ preventive action.
• Supervise and guide his/ her subordinates to ensure their duties are properly done.
• Monitor effectiveness of corrective/ preventive action.
• Test and verify the quality of existing material or products.
• Verify daily inspection record.
• Verify all monitoring and measuring devices.
• Perform others related duties as required.
• Accept/ reject incoming, in-process and/ or finished goods.
• Approve subordinates to go to clinic.
• Approve subordinates to apply leave (in the absence of QA Manager).
• Approve subordinates to go out during working hours.
• Approve subordinates overtime.
• Approve subordinates’ requisition form (eg: Purchase Request, Material Request, etc)
Requirements :: • Knowledge of Quality Management System.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team
environment with excellent communication and
management skills.
• Demonstrated strong leadership.
• Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems.
• Exceptional listening and analytical skill.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Computer literate.
• Preferably Professional Certificate, Diploma or degree in relevant field.
• 3 years above working experience in quality management field.
