Description :
1. Gains business insight, links behaviours to results, and leverages talent metrics to create SMART action plans that improve culture, connectivity, and results, in partnership with the General Manager
2. Conducts pro-active associate chats to exchange feedback and keep a pulse on the environment and engagement
3. Influences peers in leveraging recognition tools and programs across the total store
4. Champions Associate Opinion Survey results and creates action plan for improvement in partnership with the General Manager
5. Demonstrates expertise in Stores Operating Procedures, company and the Guide policies
6. Understands our company compensation philosophy and uses this knowledge to provide guidance to SLT peers to influence effective pay related decisions
7. Partner with peers, Human Resources and other functional partners, as needed to resolve associate concerns and escalated issues
8. Mitigates risk and supports labour law compliance
9. Engages with SLT regarding building a balanced team and workforce management staffing plans
10. Owns the development and implementation of recruitment strategy to ensure no open jobs
11. Ensures effective execution of sourcing, selection and on boarding processes across the total store
12. Conducts train-the-trainer sessions for SLT members who have on boarding responsibilities
13. Takes a leadership role, along with the General Manager, to ensure effective completion of the performance management cycle and processes including observations, action plans, reviews, and when applicable, performance improvement plans
14. Ensures in store learning and development activities, sales leadership and store meeting content is properly executed in partnership with General Manager
15. Builds associate connectivity within store
16. Communicates all talent related initiatives to team and provides training and follow up accordingly
17. Ensures exit interviews are completed and assessed
18. Responsible for the talent life cycle of direct reports, including recruitment, hiring, on boarding, training, development, performance management, terminations and succession planning
 
Requirements :
1. Minimum Diploma in Retail Management
2. Minimum 5-years’ experience in a retail managerial role in Luxury Retail
3. Proven ability to lead a pay for performance selling team
4. Proven ability to effectively delegate, follow-up and communicate with all levels of the organisation
5. Demonstrates ability to manage complex and competing priorities with time management and organizational skills
6. Strong attention to detail, even while multi-tasking
7. Demonstrates ability to assess talent, coach, develop and manage performance
8. Demonstrates business acumen with strong strategic and analytical skills
9. Must be proficient in MS Office & email
10. High degree of emotional intelligence and multi-cultural sensitivity
11. Must be comfortable to work on shift work basis and weekends.
