Description :
A. Overall Purpose of the Job
1. Develop and implement business plans for establishing Continuous Improvement and new project initiatives in GSS APAC
2. In partnership with Regional/Group Finance/GSS PRG, establish objectives for Continuous Improvement (“CI”) and ensure the successful attainment of those objectives
3. Oversee the refinement and delivery of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s), working in close partnership with global process leaders to ensure attainment of Group Finance targets
4. Act as a visible role model for International SOS values, to lead the development of the required GSS culture and to provide the environment, structure and leadership to ensure that the organisation is customer service focused and performing at the standards of leading practice

B. Key Responsibilities Continuous Improvement
1. Collaborate with GSS service delivery managers in reviewing and re-designing internal processes and procedures for more efficient operational flow and capacity and improved service delivery
2. Identify opportunities to improve finance processes within GSS APAC
3. Liaise with Corporate Finance, IT and other teams leading initiatives and projects to improvee consistency and quality of service delivery for GSS APAC
4. Performance Management
5. Periodically review the SLAs, KPIs and metrics in order to identify further improvement opportunities
6. Identify and drive continuous improvement projects, both within GSS APAC and across other business units, with a focus on overall improvement of International SOS internal processes.
7. Ensure increasingly productive and cost efficient ways of delivering services
8. Stakeholder Management
9. Implement regular, structured communication processes with key stakeholders to update them on the advancement of CI projects, risks and issues
 
Requirements :
1. Knowledge and understanding of leading practice for accounting/billing processes/regulatory environment
2. Strong knowledge of shared service centre metrics/KPI, reporting and ERP systems desired
3. Project or Programme Management of shared service centre implementations
4. Ideally have at least a LEAN Six Sigma / Green Belt and technical change management governance
5. Strong business knowledge ideally in a finance services/SSC environment
6. A demonstrable ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people at varying levels

Required Work Experience (Brief description of the job-related experience needed to perform the job)
1. A minimum of 8 years strong working experience in process improvement, project management and change management experience with finance shared services
2. Previous experience in SSC or BPO environment working with multiple countries and cultures

Required Qualifications
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
2. A certification in Project management PRINCE2® Practitioner
3. Computer literature with proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio

Required Languages
1. Fluent in spoken and written English. Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Travel / Rotation Requirements
1. Regular international travel required
