Description :: 1. Assisting the General Manager of Legal Departmant to manage the legal Team
2. Preparing, legal documents for the execution by the Company and/or customers of the department ei subsidiaries and other departments
3. Draft, review, comment and finalise documents for review and clearance by the supervisor for execution by relevant parties
4. Provides legal advice to clarity any vagueness on paints of law, application and enforceability
5. Provide updates in laws to the Company and officers of the Company and/or customers of the department
6. Review, comment, negotiate and amend the contents of prepared documents
7. Highlight to the Company and/or customers of the department, the legal implications,
enforceability and compliance of laws
8. Participate in proposals preparation to ensure proposals are in compliance with laws and authority given to the Company and/or customers of the department
9. Liaises with external legal firms to convey the request and decision made by the Company and/or customers of the department
10. Liaises with external advisors including financial advisors in relation to corporate
exercises proposed to be undertaken by the Company and/or involving the Company
and/or customers of the department
11. Prepare for review and comment by the supervisor and finalise the Policies and
12. procedures of the department and such other policies and procedures to be used by the department
13. Monitor and ensure compliance and adherence of the department and the Company
and/or customers of the department
14. Report to the supervisor any non-compliance of the Policies and Procedures
15. Prepare for review and comment by the supervisor the budget for the department
16. Review the update on the development of projects of which assistance had been
requested for the Business Development division and/or other customers of the department.
Requirements :: 1. Possess LLB/Bachelor of Laws
2. At least 5 years above after being called to the Bar or graduation
3. Possess good-interpersonal, organization, communication and time management skills
4. Good team player, with ability to interact at all levels
5. Meticulous and able to multitask in a fast paced working environment
6. Self motivated, analytical and proactive
7. Good command of written and spoken English.and communication skills
