Description :: 1)Operational Excellence:

*Responsibility for quality, efficiency and timeliness of process documentation, work shadowing and training of other team members and back-up framework
*Assisting with monthly and yearly closings and account analysis and supporting the SE / Team Lead
*Reporting to direct supervisor of any deviations from agreed standards (delays, use of wrong templates, missing input)
*Participating in knowledge transfer and process documentation to secure a safe transfer of work from Finance departments abroad to the Shared Service
*Supporting, if required, other process areas e.g. during peak periods of work
*Acting as a specialist and first point of contact for a specific *Accounts Receivables tasks or IT applications relating to:

-Receipt and allocation of payments to open invoices
-Payment to customers
-Credit notes clearing
-Handling disputed invoices
-Handling customer and business queries regarding Receivables
-Manual invoicing for Non Trade invoices for both external and internal customer
-AR closing and reporting
-Managing generic mailboxes
-Assisting with monthly and yearly closings and account analysis and supporting the AR Senior/Team leader in carrying out the responsibilities of the AR department
*Preparing process maps and desktop procedures
*Understanding business environment

2) Connected Finance:
*Maintaining high level of stakeholder management
*To participate in the preparation for the stakeholder engagement slides pack

3) Process Improvements:
*Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the AP/AR/GL process areas and Shared Service as a whole
*Actively and continuously to provide idea on continuous improvement for AR processes.

4)People & Development:
*Actively undertaking activities to increase own competency portfolio
*Working as a member of the team, participating fully in team / organization activities, taking responsibility for team goals and coaching and supporting other members of the team to increase their competencies and skills
*Supporting other team members in achieving team and individual goals

5)Controls Effectiveness:
*To uphold and execute controls with complete understanding and effectiveness
*To support and leverage on the CCI tool to address on Control effectiveness
*To update and perform the Control Confirmation Process (CCP) on monthly basis by collecting saving the evidences
Requirements :: 1)Qualifications – Minimum Diploma / Degree holder
Advanced level accounting courses like CIMA / ACCA / CPA will have an added advantage

2)Experience level – Fresher / 0-1 year experience for Accounts Associate, 1-5 years for Executive positions. Candidates with good credentials or possess professional certification will have an added advantage

3)Language – Good command over written and verbal English communication. Written and verbal Mandarin capability is mandatory for China serving staff.

4)Working knowledge of MS Office and those with JD Edwards Accounting System will have an added advantage

5)Flexibility to work based on timings and Public Holidays schedule of the country served
